Martin Keane RIP

It was with sadness that we learned of the passing of Martin Keane from this life on Sunday, December 28^th, 2025

Martin will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Margaret; his family, Colette, Bernadette, Adrian and Geraldine; his daughter-in-law, Siobhan; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Oliver, Sophie, Louis and Jacob. Martin will be mourned by his brother Paddy (Wicklow) and sister Jo (Australia), his nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, his wonderful neighbours in Mount Pleasant and his many friends in Galway and London.

Martin was a great hurling man and a terrific supporter of St. Gabriel’s Hurling Club in London. After returning home and retiring to Loughrea, he continued to follow the fortunes of the club. It’s fair to say the ‘Gabs’ were always close to his heart.

St Gabriel’s Hurling Club extends its heartfelt condolences to his wife Margaret, his daughters Collette, Bernadette, Geraldine, his son Adrian and all the Keane family on his passing.

Rest in Peace, Martin.
