St Gabriel’s Hurling Club is delighted to confirm that our annual Fundraising Golf Day will take place at Hendon Golf Club on Friday, 14 August 2026, once again supported by the Galway Association Golf Society (GAGS).

The Golf Day is one of the club’s main fundraising events of the year and brings together club members, past players, friends, supporters, sponsors and the wider Irish community for a great day of golf, food and fundraising.

We are especially grateful to our club president, Mick Corcoran, and Addingtons Ltd, who continue to support the Golf Day as our Main Event Sponsor.

Tee / Hole Sponsorship — £160

Sponsors will have their company or business logo displayed on a tee box sponsor board on the course and included on the Golf Day sponsor roll-up banners displayed in the clubhouse during the event and evening presentations. There is no limit on the number of sponsorships.

Team Entry plus Tee / Hole Sponsorship — £560

Enter a team of four and have your company or business logo displayed as part of the sponsor recognition on the day.

Team Entry — £400

Enter a team of four players. Entry includes golf, tea/coffee and bacon roll on arrival, and an evening meal.

Individual Entry — £100

Individual players are very welcome and can be entered separately.

Raffle Prizes / Donations

We also welcome raffle prizes and general donations in support of the event.

Sponsor Recognition

Sponsors will be recognised through:

  • Tee box sponsor boards on the course
  • Golf Day sponsor roll-up banners displayed in the clubhouse
  • Event-day acknowledgements
  • Post-event thanks and recognition where appropriate

Tee box displays include the premium  Event Sponsor position and space for additional sponsor logos.

Sponsors should provide their company or business logo in high-resolution PNG, JPG or PDF format for use on the tee box displays and sponsor roll-up banners.

Golf Day Timings

Arrival: From 12:00 noon
Tea/Coffee and Bacon Rolls: On arrival
Shotgun Start: 1:30 pm
Evening Meal: From 7:00 pm

Teams will consist of four players, with the two best scores to count on each hole, except on the 9th and 18th holes, where all four scores will count.

Golf Day prizes will include:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Individual Prizes
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd Team Prizes
  • Longest Drive
  • Nearest the Pin

For Payments:  BACS payments are preferred. We can provide an invoice as required.
