St Gabriels conclude the group stage of the Capital Concrete Senior Hurling Championship next weekend when they take on the reigning Co-Champions Brothers Pearse at McGovern Park on Saturday (throw-in at 1 pm). St Gabriels have secured the top spot in the group following the win over Kilburn Gaels, while the county champions will be anxiously awaiting the results of the two other games in the group if the result doesn’t go their way against St Gabriels.

Meanwhile, the St Gabriels ‘B’ team has effectively been awarded a semi-final spot following the withdrawal of Kilburn Gaels ‘B’ from the Montore Construction Intermediate hurling Championship. Their final game in the group stage has been treated as a walk over to St Gabriel’s ‘B’.
