Jack Morrissey – 2025 London Senior Hurling Player of the Year

St Gabriel’s Hurling Club is delighted to congratulate Jack Morrissey on being named 2025 London Senior Hurling Player of the Year.

The award, presented by London GAA, recognises Jack’s outstanding contribution to London hurling during a memorable 2025 season. Jack was part of the London panel that captured the Christy Ring Cup, a landmark achievement for the county, and he also played a central role in St Gabriel’s successful club campaign.

Jack received his award at Saturday night’s London GAA Dinner, held at the Clayton Chiswick Hotel. The presentation was made by John Prenty of Connacht GAA, with Gerry Waldron of the Irish Embassy and Tony O’Halloran, Chairperson of the London County Board, also present to mark the occasion.

It was a fantastic and well-deserved recognition for Jack after an excellent year in both county and club colours. For St Gabriel’s, he was a key figure throughout the season and delivered a superb 1-04 in the London Senior Hurling Championship final victory over Kilburn Gaels at McGovern Park, Ruislip.
